Shedding wouldn't really be caused by your shampoo, it would come from a problem with the tips themselves, most likely, with the glue not saturating the bonds totally.
When you're wearing extensions, just try to avoid any rich shampoo that might have a low dose of conditioner in them, some oil, or anything that would losen or weaken the bond over time. It is a general rule of thumb however, once in a while it shouldn't hurt, and I am sure some ladies use pretty rich shampoos on a daily basis and get away w/ it.
Everyone has a different chemistry.
I use Avalon organics shampoos most of the time, but I alternate with a richer poo sometimes, and some clarifying shampoo about once a week.
The main thing is to keep the conditioner away from the bond. Whether it's tape, of LG, or keratin fusion.
Hi- I have been using Organic Root Stimulator for years before it became mainstream- I have been recommending it all this time- it grows my hair by keeping the elasticity in my hair. As with any shampooing, condition first, then dilute the shampoo before using. You can buy it from Walmart or any hair supply place.
