QuoteReplyTopic: blow drying hair.. help!!! Posted: April 21 2004 at 4:56pm
UGH i just want to cry. i have just below-shoulder length hair that's naturally wavy/curly, highlighted blonde at the moment. whenever i leave the salon, my hair looks fantastic.. i use the same products they use to style my hair, so i think it's a technique in how they blow dry it straight. i just can't do it!!!! does anyone have a good tutorial on how to blow dry your hair correctly? btw, my hair is fine and medium-to-thin. i've gotten sick of using my flat iron(not only that, but i'm terrified of the damage it does to my hair) and i need to learn how to use a blow dryer. i use an elchim blow dryer and a marilyn straightening brush.. please help me :(
Hey yeh, i had the same prob but now ive found a great way...and its pretty quick too. You let ya hair dry a lil bit then get a round brush (proferable one with metal on the inside, because it helps straighten it as it heats up) put your straightening balm in ya hair and (if you have like a shorter bit which is ya fringe and it tends to curl up more, like mine put it in a band and leave it till last) tip your head upside down and pull ya brush down from the roots and follow it with ya hairdryer. The back of ya hair dont need to be perfectly straight for it to sit good, so ya can be a bit dodgy on them. Then take ya fringe or front bits out (wet them if they are too dry) and part them to the sides them blowdry them downwards...put a shining serum over your hair and then put ya hair dryer on cool and go over your hair again to set it, brush it and, voila! Your done! hope this helps!!! ~~MWAH~~
