Yes, a product like Heat Treat will protect your hair form damage. Although nothing will completely protect, this will help protect it. You always need some kind of barrier between the heat and your hair. Thats exactly what heat treat does.

I haven't tried the Heat Treat. I don't use curling irons or blow dryers... but even if I did. Heat Treat seems like a gimmick to me. Nothing could really prevent heat damage to hair.

I just went to a small beauty supply store and they sell Redken All Soft Conditioner for $22.95! The other place sells them for $28.00... I am so glad!
