help!!!

someone please help my boring hair!

i don''t know what to do with it!
i have a straight, blunt cut, one length bob that just touches my shoulders, it''s dark red-almost black, and i look like a newsreader with it!

my hair is naturally slightly wavy, but i blow dry it straight.
when i have layers in my hair the ends curl in all directions, no matter what i do to tell it to behave!

i want to do something really extreme!
any suggestions???

ps. i''m kinda skint... so stuff that costs a lot is out.
