For 2011′s Teen Choice Awards, expect some big-names, plenty of surfboards, and, now, some kooky hairstyles: The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has been tapped to host the awards ceremony, according to a release from Fox. Cuoco also announced the news on her Twitter: “Well, it’s official. Yours truly is hosting the Teen Choice Awards. Woop woop!”

The Teen Choice Awards also announced that they have added a new category, Choice Vampire. (The nominees for that one: Nina Dobrev, Vampire Diaries; Robert Pattinson, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse; Nikki Reed, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse; Alexander Skarsgard, True Blood; Ian Somerhalder, The Vampire Diaries; Paul Wesley, The Vampire Diaries.)

Fans can still vote for nominees on the Teen Choice Awards website until Aug. 5. The ceremony will air on Fox live on Aug. 7.

i love this tv series especially Amy Fara Fowler! :) She's the link between Sheldon and the world! haha
