people with really thick hair. My hair lenght is about 3 inches past my shoulders and it has like 2 layers. I was thinking about growing it out a little more then get lots of different layers. Would this make my hair thicker? I'm 17 yrs. old and I have had the same boring hairstyle for as long as I can remember. I want to try something different but I don't know what, since my hair is so thick!!

well what you might want to do is to go to a very good salon and ask them for suggestion.

Adding layers to your hair will have a thinning effect, not a thickening effect. People with very bushy hair often use layers to help decrease the volume.
