Thanks, I just got it done today and it's a bit darker than I wanted so a little fading would be welcomed. I have had it another red color before so I am well aware of the fading issue :/
If you have a beauty supply store nearby, call and ask if they have "Yellow" brand dyes. I've used their #6000 red booster with a 10 or 20 volume developer and it gives TRUE vibrant red without the darkening brown or orangey yellow base colors, and minimal lightening damage. It' amazing for touchups if the base color you have is dark enough for your liking. It lasts longer than any of the permanent reds I've ever tried and doesn't stain the skin at all like manic panic or Elumen do.
Your starting blonde (same as mine!) + Yellow-brand red would give you that exact photo color. :) And it would liven up your current red version too.

Yeah unfortunately as DoctoredLocks said, red hair color fades quickly :( I have dark brown hair and every time I dyed it red it would always fade fast. Over the summer I dyed my hair "strawberry blonde" and my roots grew back brown. It looked so funny I hated seeing myself in the mirror! I even dyed my hair the same exact color you wanted a couple years ago and that faded fast too. When I dyed my hair strawberry blonde, I bought some John Frieda blonde shampoo and conditioner to help keep the color in. Maybe see if you can find a shampoo that's meant for red hair that could keep the color in longer. Or find a shampoo that's specifically meant for dyed hair! I love red hair and it stinks it comes out so fast but I guess it has something to do with the pigments in the color :(
