Help!!!ASAP

Hey!
so my hair is about 2 inches past my shoulders and iv been dying it brown for around 4 years. I bought a highlighting kit which turned my roots blonde and my ends dark ginger, iv got an important family do in 2 days, what should i do???
Iv bought a dark ash blonde dye, will that work in turning my ginger and dark lighter and my blonde roots darker??? Cos the last light brown dye i used made my hair really dark brown. I cant afford the hairdressers so ut will have to be box dye. Also my hair is extremely fine so im tryin to avoid pre lightening it.
