Sorry for making my first post about myself but i am desperate. Arrgghh, my hair is naturally light brown and I have dyed it with a semi-permanent brown (24 washes it claims) hair dye, the same one twice in one month. The first time I dyed I liked it but thought it is too light and it faded quickly, so I dyed again last monday but now my hair is far too dark and i have washed it about 10 times but its not even fading this time!
I dont want to use a colour remover, too harsh and not easy to find in the UK anyway, are there any ways to ge tthe colour out quicker? i know i am not goin to be able to get it all out overnight but anything will help!
Dishwashing soap is perfectly strong - to ruin your hair and scalp. Certainly long hair won't appreciate ... A cheap shampoo (base - pH 8 or higher) will open up the layers of each hair, removing the temporary colour. Then apply a very expensive acid conditioner (preferably with keratines in it to heal the damage) to close them again.
Lots of success and keep dishwashing soap for the dishes
dishwashing soap is fine for hair i have tried it and it doesnt ruin hair dont use on that is all fancy just like joy or somthing and condition it tooo!

Dishwashing liquid is probably like body soap, in that it won't really kill your hair to use it once or twice in a pinch, but will mess it up if you use it all the time.
