i do actually think it looks cool. not that she has ever had really great hair IMHO

i'm not adverse to clippered hair and i kinda liked undercuts back in the day too but nothing beat a good short cut!

I wouldnt say better but it is FUN and she is YOUNG and it goes well together!
Long with BLUNT bangs or ALL cut to lip length, I cant decide my favorite!

Avril doesn't even have the best hair in this small sample of women, much less the rest of the world. lovebobs and bob&pixieLOVER, do you actually think she looks better like this? I'll never look at her the same way. I'm feeling kind of sick posting about it twice.

she would look awesome with a short style! she has rocked the long hair for ages so would be nice to see some sort of change.

I'm very much over this look... While I do think some can carry it off (Cassie Ventura), I don't think Avril's one who does. It'll be nice to see if she eventually goes short, but she had some awesome long, rocker hair.

While I agree that this doesn't work for Avril, I think it does work on some.

I am probably in the extreme minority here but I think it works great for Jordan Meredith, Kelly Clarkson's partner in Duets. Here are some shots:
