This is just my opinion but I did not like it. Try it though I have heard some people like it. The shampoo does not lather into tiny bubbles like normal it stays gooey, that's how they get the 'elastic 'effect on the commercials. Since it doesn't lather I never felt that my hair actually got clean. My mom uses a generic brand of fructis called frutique, it lathers but I am not sure if it would give the 'strength' you are looking for.
Sorry, I should have clarified myself as I have not used all the shampoos. I have used "fine hair" and "sleek and shine". Give it a shot, no harm in trying, I liked the conditioner, but like I said, it felt like my hair didn't get clean from the shampoo. If you do use it, let me know if you liked the shampoo and which one you used. I am the kind of person that has to have stuff that smells good too! And fructis was definately good for that!
I am absolutely addicted to the Fructis line! I have tried the Fine Hair and am now using the Smooth line. I love the scent and I found it lathered great and leaves my hair clean and soft. I guess that goes to show you it is personal preference!
It's a good shampoo i like it! Try it and u'll see, people have different opinions on shampoo coz they have different hair type, right?!.. It's only like $4 after all ..
I thought I answered this already. Maybe it was another Fructis thread? Ah well.
I tried Fructis briefly, but didn't care for it-- it made my hair feel plasticky, like wig hair. My hair is usually very soft, so I dunno what it did to my hair, to make that happen.
More awesome than a manatee!

It weighed my hair down (which is a good thing for me, trust me) but it
also left it feeling greasy and sticky. The first few times I tired it
everything went fine, but then everything went downhill.
I used the shampoo for color-treated or permed hair, which when I
checked has the same exact ingredients as the one for dry/damaged hair.
I've been using the dry and damaged shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks now, it's nice actually. My hair is nice, soft and healthy.
But I wonder how people get their hair so nice that if they swing their head around, their hair would get right back to normal or ALMOST normal when they stop. My hair gets a little messy if it's too windy or if I swing my head around, but I can fix it right away with a comb or brush, and maybe with some damp water on my hands after washing and wiping them.
What do you call this type of hair? The type of hair that doesn't hold and just falls, so that the wind won't screw it up, and if I swing my hair it wouldn't mess up either, and it looks really nice soft healthy shiny. Yea, that's what I like.
