QuoteReplyTopic: He cut his locks! Posted: July 21 2003 at 11:45am
Well, my coworker cut his gorgeous honey colored hair for locks of love. Les sigh.
Turns out he had another motivation for it. A girl he likes, and whom seems to like him too, said she prefers it short...so the vorpal blades went "snicker-snack".
Do excuse my spelling.
Anyways i am at least happy that even by cutting alot off I still have long hair and most people dont even notice the difference (which I find very interesting, doesnt anyone pay attention? I notice even when a short haired guy gets a trim let alone a long haired gal who cuts it shorter. Oh well).

Gee, a rather graphic description there, Erinlynn.
Interesting the interpersonal dynamics in that relationship (as regards the hair). Some women get peeved if their boyfriend or husband so much as suggest she grow her hair long. Other women don't mind doing so. Depends on the individual.
Caramia makes a good point. If he likes (liked?) having long hair and the relationship ends, where does that leave him?

Outta luck. Only two things are eternal. Human stupidity and the soba noodle.
Not that I wish him luck in his relationship, but if he gets screwed over, his fault for bending. If I had a S.O. , and would get a comment like "i like it short" , I'd tell her to take a hike.
I hate all of the following and lots more : Fundamentalists, racists, sexists, fascists, ageists (people saying seniors = senile , kids = stupid , 18 = immature or a combo of them), and bigots for causes yet to receive their own designation.
Now granted that hes been playing with the idea of cutting it he still used the girl as his push.
Now, this relationship is very new, and hes not even sure where it will go. Its not even a month old as far as I can tell. Im worried somethign will go wrong and then he will regret his decision.
I second Kintaro...but will use my right to chance soba noodle for Tango! ...at least in my case. Well, hair grows back eventually and new relationships will come...
I guess Karen's quote comes in handy here....what doesn't kill us...... This is one of those "learning the hard way" scenarios. You will get to say I told you so at some point, but not feel so great about having to. How does he look now? Was his hair gorgeous before?
