i have a great idea sounds like you could use a little trim, nothing drastic maybe a few bangs they always look good. I've been cutting hair for over 10 years I'm really quite good, get back to me before you do anything.

If it is thick and long and you dont like it down my best sugestion would be to curl it and wear it back over the crown of your head, then out of your face, minimal trim or lose of length, my only oyher suggestion which would reallly create a new look entirely would be bangs because now all your hair ids offo your ace.
