>OPIONION FROM A MAN for BRIANThe ladies very long hair was cut a little too short. But Brian, you did to a good job. You have good skillon the short hair makeover. I still think the ladieshair was cut down a little too short. The lady may wantto think about letting her hair grow the the top ofher shoulders, before deciding to cut again. This ladydoes not have the correct hair texture for long hair. The lady has fine hair, which is the most difficult typeof hair, for a long hair style. Most ladies with fine hair,do go to a short style around chin length. I know thinand fine hair can cause a lot of splits ends, which makesladies with this texture of hair, keep it cut short, togive a ladies hair more body.

>From JACKThe ladies hair was cut down too short. Bryan you did goodjob with the the makeover. The lady in your makeover, hadher hair cut too short, but she still has a good femaleidentity. This lady should consider shoulder length hairin the future. It is easy to get carried away, for a manto cut to much hair off. This lady has the type of hairthat would look good if grown back to shoulder lengthhair, but she looks okay with the hairstyle in the picture.A man needs to try to avoid excessive cutting of ladieslong hair, but it will grow back.Jack

I am curious about the reason you would even post such long hair cuttings?I am not looking for any help . My goals is for my hair to reach my knees. I already have long hair.

As an older woman, with long hair, (who doesn't give a "rat's patoot" if the rest of the world thinks that reaching one's 35th, or 40th, or 50th birthday should automatically earn a trip to the haircutters..), I fail to see that the butchery of this young lady's hair is something to brag about.I hope it's what she wanted... It doesn't strike me as much of an "improvement."

Her long tresses were especially beautiful, so thin and delicate. What a shame. Please spare us your pathetic "talent" in the future.Jennifer Eve

> Jack, Why is your message almost identical to that of Mark? You know what? I don't think that either of you are real! BTW, my opinion is that Brian is a misogynist. He seemed to take pleasure in making her ugly. I'll never understand the twisted mentality of those who, like Brian, get some kind of cheap thrill out of defacing a woman. What you have done is a horrendous act of personal vandalism that is the complete antithesis of the term makeover. Your actions are nothing other than malfeasance with scissors, to take pride in such a criminal act is beyond my comprehension.Don3

Ok, I'll agree with everyone here that this ain't the most attractive haircut I've ever seen and that there were plenty of iterations between where she started and where she ended up that would have been more flattering. Now, that said, I'll play Keanu Reeves (Devil's Advocate. Get it? Nevermind). She is smiling in the picture (though it may be forced) and he didn't exactly break in, tie her up, and forcibly cut her hair. How do you know she didn't like the result? She did choose to let Brian do it rather than go to a professional salon, so why crucify him?Again, I agree that the end result could have been much better, but that's not the area of outrage. Everyone is coming down on Brian for even cutting it in the first place. Assuming Jenni wanted it cut this short, how is that his fault?Just food for thought,JerkyFleaRelated Link:JerkyFlea's Celebrity Hair Spray

I find it unbelievable how cruel and rude people can be.This girl had only had her hair trimmed about once evey other year. Her hair was so frizzy and damaged that she had several split ends per hair shaft and they extended all the way up to her shoulders. I had only planned to cut her hair in a shoulder length bob. However, she had a picture of how she wanted her hair cut and I cut it exactly how she wanted. She absolutely loved it and so did I. I'm very sorry I even bothered to post my message here... Even though Karen has a lot of short hair styles in her Gallery, this is obviously a long hair board. I'll ask Karen to remove my post.Take care.

The main problem I have with Brian is the fact he seem to take pleasure in selling those pictures. It comes across a long hair cutting fetish.Yes I will also agree that there were more up to date hair styles that are shorter but longer than she has and she would have looked a lot nicer. Right now the styles makes her look a lot older.>

Brian,I think the response you got could be expected. You didn't post any the explanation that you just gave with your original post. This is a typical tactic of the short hair fanatics. They post short provactive messages designed to invoke controversy. Thus you message triggered this reaction. The girl very well may have been a willing participant in your endeavour, but obviously the main goal of your original post was to advertise your video. If we at the Hair Boutique had noticed your post earlier, we would have removed it for violating our policy against commercial posts. But since there has been lots of responses its too late to remove it now.Jeff HinesThe Hair Boutique

> I think she now looks quite masculine.Oh, she does not. If it were up to me, I would have left more hair, but to say she looks "quite masculine" shows your absolute, complete bias and lack of good judgment. She has a pretty face and feminine body. Her hairstyle isn't perhaps the most feminine one but that certainly doesn't make her "masculine". Think!>Her long tresses> were especially beautiful, so thin and delicate. How about extremely stringy and extremely split? I personally would have gone for mid-back or just below shoulder-length, but the ends of her hair were *horrible*.

She wanted the cut. Does her opinion not matter, or should *you* decide how it should be cut?
