I think so too.  From the front, it looks like it's tucked under.  That shot from the back, the shorter pieces against her coat are probably just shorter layers.

It just looks messy & kinda stringy to me. :( She is a very beautiful woman, but I think this new style is a downgrade.

Well imagined, Klaatu, and well said everyone else.

I'm at a loss. There is nothing about it that's new to Jessica, new to hair, flattering, appealing, anything. It's as bland as bland gets.

And reading through the thread above, it appears this is the third time since September that she's made a change and landed about here.

Oh, and Jessica - thanks for drawing my attention to your forehead and hairline. They're lovely.

It's a pretty generic, and imo unflattering,angled lob.
For some reason, these quotes are from the article...

I usually can't tell if it's the hombre thing or just the lighting in the photo. I suppose it's more dramatic in person.

I think ombre can look awesome when done with wild colors -- deep reds, purples, and blues. But when celebs try it with brown and slightly less brown, it comes off looking half-assed.
