Hi everyone-I want hair extensions to legthen my short hair but I don't even come close to having the money to get them. I remember hearing that one good way to get free hair cuts and styles (including extensions) is to volunteer as a "guinea pig" at a beauty school. Is this a good idea? Can it be done?Thanks,Allyson

I AM AN EXTENSIONIST AN AS FAR AS I KNOW THEY DON'T TEACH EXTENSIONS IN HAIR SCHOOL. BUT IT'S BEEN AWHILE SINCE I'VE BEEN TO SCHOOL. IT'S NOT A BAD IDEA IF YOU COULD FIND SOMEONE WHO IS LEARNING. I'M JUST NOT SURE HOW YOU FIND SOMEONE. I KNOW WHEN I WAS STARTING OUT I JUST WANTED SOMEONE TO DO IT ON AND THEN AS LONG AS SOMEONE PAID FOR THE HAIR I WAS WILLING TO DO THE WORK JUST FOR THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE FOR THE FIRST FEW PEOPLE I DID. I WOULD SAY DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO PERSUE.
