I don't think that's a pixie. Funny how every short style is now called a pixie! For me, Mia Farrow's "Rosemary's Baby" style was a pixie. Winona Ryder's classic style was a pixie. Even Anne Hathaway's initial short style was a pixie (not so much now). A pixie is close to what they used to call an "urchin" style. It is always cut off the ears and super short at the front.
This is not a pixie. It's short but it's not a pixie.

Please look these other pictures of her new look. I think it is like what is called "pixie" here. Maybe you're right, English is not my language, so I don't know exactly what is covered by the word and what is not.

The first photo is definitely NOT a pixie. Later photos are more pixie-ish but lack the "short at the front" factor. A true pixie makes you look, well, like a pixie.
