Ever since I was born, I`ve had curly hair. My curls will range from the tighter end of medium up to pretty loose, it just depends on what it feels like doing. Until last summer I had always tried to fight it by cutting it short, excessive amounts of hair gel, and straightening irons. I`ve finally conceded defeat and have started growing it out. It is now about 2 inches long on the top and about an inch to 1/2 inch long on the sides and I just don`t know what to do with it. I`m trying to get it to look like Ryan Phillipe`s doo in the (bad) movie Anti-Trust.
Right now I gel it and it looks kinda-sorta the same way but it gets poofy as the day goes on, and the curls seem to relax a bit. It also looks coarse, like a wire-haired terriers hair does. I`m just looking for
