I have always had my hair cut in a spikey fashion, when i get it cut it's great, but then my hair gets long and when that happens, it gets curly and my spikes bend back. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can have my hair long but when it is long still be spikey? i have seen ppl with longer hair than mine, and their hair is perfectly spikey. ANY IDEAS?
Well, I don't think you could spike long hair. I've never seen it happen, and the weight of the hair would bring the hair right back down. Just how long are you talking about?

I would suggest you try a mild relaxer if your hair is already straight. I had my thick wavy hair relaxed and now I have bone straight hair. Definitly recomment it.
I think it would help to get your spiked. However, if you don't this treatment, then maybe try a stronger gel.

Egg whites make an awesome hair gel. When I was younger, I used to spike my hair, which was fairly thick at the time and about 3 1/2 - 4 inches on top.
Warning: Egg whites feel way icky in your fingers, but they dry in your hair fairly quickly. From what I'm told, it's very good for your hair too.
