QuoteReplyTopic: questions about pomade Posted: December 04 2003 at 4:13pm
My boyfriend has fluffy, fine, slightly wavy hair, and he's often complaining about it so he took up my offer to help him style it. He doesn't use any products right now, and he just shampoos and dries it.
His hair is about 1" long, so I was thinking pomade would work for a shinier, more textured look. First of all, I need a recommendation of what brands work well. Also are there any tips about how to style? Thanks.
he should have his hair cut short (if that suits him well) and use ThickerFullerHair revitalizing shampoo, then towel-dry his hair ; after that, he should rub a nickel-sized amount of pomade or gel and apply it. It's been working well for me. Good luck!!!

Yes pomades works well, if you want to have that textured hair without the hardness of a gel. Try to find brands that are made for the male species like the pomades from American Crew, Schawarkpf (sorry about the spelling) or Uno. They make products specifically for men. Beside I think your boyfriend will use brands that is associated with him, being a man, than using products that you use (girlish brands). Its all in the ego in us. If you do this you will be happy cause he looks good and he will be happy cause he can look good with out losing his ego.
