How should I have my hair cut in the back????

I am getting my hair cut today and I need help deciding on how to have the back cut. I have a layered bob where the sides come to just below my ears and the back is longer to my collar. I am going to get it cut to just below my ears all the way around which will leave the hair down my nape (back of my neck) exposed and I don't know whether to have it buzzed like really short, or tapered, or graduated, or something else. What do you think I should do? Also, I have been growing out my bangs but they are now so heavy that I can't keep them out of my face and I am seriously thinking about having them cut back. Should I?

And just why is the style stupid? That is not a nice thing to say. I wouldn't call your hairstyle stupid. I like it and it fits my face and features and I love the movement and versatility.
