Hey peeps,
I don't know about any of you, but i have really thick hair that gets really big when i blow dry it. I have been trying and trying to get it flatter. I was going for a look kind of like courtney cox's when she had a chin length bob. I used paddle brushes, round brushes, normal brushes, my fingers, combs. nothing worked. Finally, i figured out something that did work. I put my hair half up in a ponytail. i let it dry for a while. when it is almost completely dry, but still kind of damp, i blow dry it-but i leave my hair up while blow drying. i pull out the scrunchee halfway down the ponytail while i'm drying my hair, and i get the flat look i want. it's great! i usually need to do a little styling just to get it to go under, or flip out, whatever i'm doing that day. So, just in case any of you have the smae problem, i thought i'd post this. i don't know if it'll work for everyone, but, it's worth a try!

Hi there! I so know what you mean! I constantly asked the same question, but never getting replies. My hair is too thick, and like you I found out to put all my ((shoulder length)) hair in a ponytail and dry it straight so that when I take it out and dry the rest, it's straight! Hey, do you know if there are any "de-volumizing" balms, or gels, or anything? If you have any info, write!
Thanks
Jenn

i'm not sure if there are any 'de volumizing' gels. there sure should be though! i always hear about ways to get your hair to be full of volume, and that is so not a problem for me! oh well. I'll look next time i'm at the drug store!
