Princess Daisy, are you a hairdresser? Who in here is a hairdresser besides JenDoesHair? A lot of you think you know what you are talking about when you really don`t! You all just talk jibberish! I mean alot of you do give out good advice and try to help people. I think Keren works for the hairboutique because she`s always talking about downloading new pics and stuff, but does everyone here think they are a hair pro??? I mean COME ON!!!!

I`m going through for a hairstylist and makeup artist! I dont know if I will be an awesome hairstylist, but anyone that i have done their hair for, says I will make it!
I guess you could say I work for HairBoutique.com. LOL. Since I co-own it and work on it every day for many hours, I guess working here is a good description. :-) I don`t get paid for the work though since we are still growing and Jeff and I put every penny we make back into the site.
The purpose of HairBoutique.com however is for consumers to get answers to consumer hair questions.
The whole purpose of HairBoutique.com is to facilitate consumers helping consumers. We don`t pretend to be hair care experts. We don`t say we are. We are consumers searching for ways to deal with our hair. All consumers.
Actually there are many stylists and hair experts that do visit and do contribute to HairBoutique.com. There are many who help consumers privately and through articles that we post here. We feel very fortunate at HairBoutique.com to have so many hair experts that help us find the answers to consumer hair care questions which is what we are trying to do. We are very pro-hair professional here at the Boutique.
However, HB.com is about consumers sharing with other consumers. One of the problems that Jeff Hines (not a hairstylist but also works here & is co-owner of HairBoutique.com) and I discovered when we were creating the HairBoutique.comover 3 1/2 years ago is that many many consumers don`t know where to go for help with hair problems and questions.
The purpose of all of these messageboards is for people to share their questions, experiences, needs, thoughts, opinions about hair. You don`t have to be a hairstylist to post here. It is great when hairstylists do post because it is great to hear different professional opinions. However, we highly value consumers who post and we welcome everyone.
This is a forum for discussion. Discussion generates new thought process for many people. So it is valuable.
Edwin Paul is a renowned stylist in the Midwest. I can call him anytime and ask him questions about hair care, his products or anything hair related. Shelley Pryor is the "official` HairBoutique.com stylist. She will take calls from me just about any time to answer questions that Jeff and I don`t know. Also, Mike Trobee who created the H37 vitamins has been fabulous at answering my questions. Yesterday we had a long phone conversation about product ingredients. Edwin Paul spent 1 hour with me last week talking about the pros and cons of hair wax vs hair past. I am very appreciative for all of the help we do receive from the pros.
ARTec has been very responsive to my questions and a national educator for Paul Mitchell, Barbara Lhotan, helps by giving us info about all kinds of hair stuff.
So we try very hard to help consumers as much as we can and get them the right answers. However, no one has to be an expert to visit and post here.
Jeff and I really appreciate people like Princess Daisy who post here. So many people visit the messageboards (we get traffic reports on a daily basis) and read the messages but never ever post. We all learn by exchanging posts and opinion. So we also appreciate your post NYOB.
I hope everyone will keep posting, stylists, consumers, hair experts, hair novices, anyone who has some opinion to share that is hair related, please post and share.
I have learned so much from all these boards I can not begin to quantify. I love reading posts from Princess Daisy. Very helpful. Thanks for all your suggestions.

I didn`t say if you weren`t a hairdresser you couldn`t help people. I was just wondering who was all a hairdresser! The way Princess Daisy talks its like she`s a pro and she knows everything about hair! Thats all.
I didn`t mean no harm, but gee you all take everything to heart
