First of all, I want to thank Jeff and Karen for the latest Hair News with all the great hair info on some of the June fashion magazines.I was really intriqued with the reference Karen made to page 66 of Allure's June issue where they discuss how some women only keep long hair to use it to be "man magnets" and then when they are in a comfortable relationship they do what they want with their hair.To quote Hair Boutque Hair News:Page 66 is a continuation of the Reporter column and I was amused when I read the Blunt Talk short hair blurb by Rachel Urquhart. She (Rqchel) quotes New York haircutter Deborah Wardwell as saying that "long hair is a man-magnet" and that "sometimes a woman will wait until she's in a secure relationship to chop her hair."My question is if this is really true? I> wonder. Any comments?Not in my case! I had short hair when I got involved with my husband. He expressed interest in what it would be like long, and I agreed to try it. He liked it, so I've kept growing it. I don't know how long I'm going to let it get, but I don't currently have any intention of cutting it short. This is probably true in some cases, but then men do all sorts of things to attract women as well. My best friend married a man who used to work out, dress nice and care about his appearance. 2 years later, he has gained lots of weight, never exercises and dresses like a bum. So the writer of this article needs to acknowledge that MEN do the same thing. I believe that is what courting is about is many cases. But not all.Kath> Not in my case!
