I have that is about two inches below my sholders, and I want to cut it short. Very short. My hair is brown, thick, and niether oily or dry. I have an oval face, if that would help at all. Will you please reccomend what might look good?
Hi, I think that for your oval face, a good style would be short and shaggy with longer bangs that kind of taper in towards your face. Just a thought. Last summer I went from just below my shoulder blades to about 1/2" all around. The style was a pixie cut like Josie Bisset had her hair in Melrose place one season (the really short chic cut). It is really maintenance free. Wash it, towel dry it, style it with your fingers and go. The one catch is that you do have to get it trimmed every three to four weeks to keep it neat. With your oval face you can wear almost every hairstyle.Good Luck finding a new style.
Hi Hannah,I agree, your oval face will allow you to wear almost any hair style. The other elements of physique you should consider are your body shape, proportion of head size to body size, and the length of your neck. Sometimes a very short cut can make you look out of proportion, so consider that. Slick your hair back and see what you look like before you decide. I have seen several women recently with very short hair cuts (1/2") that looked terrific on them. My personal advice would be to stay on the conservative side, unless there is something you want to do with your hair (such as sell it or donate it for a wig). I think your could start with an all one length short cut (2 or 3 inches) and decide how you want the back--clipped or with a longer fringe. Then you can go shorter if you think it is right for you. You will need to maintain the new length more frequently with monthly trims. Get a consultation before you make the appointment for the cut. Good luck, let us know how it comes out!John R> I have that is about two inches below my> sholders, and I want to cut it short. Do you like Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy & the Vampire Slayer?) She has a classic oval face and she looks really beautiful with a center part and a chin length straight bob. I bet you would look beautiful with one too.Good luck.Janelle> Hi Hannah,> I agree, your oval face will allow you to> wear almost any hair style.
