Hi, I want to colour my hair in the near future and was just wondering about highlights. Can you tell me more about them such as different ways of doing them (foils, streak caps etc), and ways of having them done (half head,full head, lines down your hair, streaks etc). My hair is black, straight and shoulder length. Thanks Sally

I suggest that if you want natural looking hilites, use the streaking cap. If you want bulky hilites or halfhead hilites use the foil therefore you can place or accentuate your natural haircolor, texture, and natural parts the way your hair is styled. If you want a more professional style of hilites use the cap and have it done by a professional stylist therefore you can learn the proper way to maintain your hilites. Thanks Kim
