I have naturally curly medium to thick textured hair. I've been letting it grow out for the last two years with success(now above mid-back). The cut was also layered so I'm dealing with a crown of extremely dry, unruly "do what it wants when it wants to" hair. I've also had a baby six months ago, so I'm going thru the ups and downs of hormonal hair loss and other problems, e.g. excessive dryness, the odd regrowth from the extreme hair loss. I've really learned to appreciate my curly hair and enjoy the spontaniety it likes to dry with from shampoo to shampoo, but I am having an extremely difficult time right now with the dryness and frizziness and need help. The products of course that worked well during my pregnancy and growth spurt now of course don't work. I've tried tons of different products and am very tire of spending money just to find it doesn't work. My scalp is also experiencing a new condition of itchiness with only certain areas flaking. I hope someone has a suggestion or solution. I'd also like a suggestion of a good curl holding product like a gel or whatever that is light and not flakey and feels natural, that will enhance my curls for a soft look and feel. Thanks ALOT, Mish

It's sad I live in the capitol city of my state and it still a joke. Any help on finding these would greatly be appreciated. Mish
