need stiff hair all day

My hair is short and i like it to stick up and be stiff. I but this mouse in my hair and that works for two hours is there something i could buy at any local drugstore that keeps my hair stiff and hard all day. thank you for the help.

Hmm.... well If I were you I'd be wary of the products in the local drugstore. A lot of them that will give you the stiff effect (like aquanet) will clog your hair follicle and may damage your hair and scalp. I suggest for the sake of your hair to go with a salon brand. In fact my suggestion is the Joico ICE Mist and/or ICE gel. I've personally seen three feet of hair standing straight up for twelve hours using just these products. They give incredible hold and shine. Also since they are water soluable they won't cause buildup and won't clog the follicle. In fact they contain strengthening and moisturizing ingredients, not to mention sunscreen so your hair may even be improved during use. I suggest you use the ICE Gel or a light hold drug store one that you are fairly certain will not build up (like vital care) to create the spiky look. Then let it set for a few minutes and lightly spray with ICE Mist, making sure you have the desired shape. I guarantee that it will stay all day and washing out is a breeze.
