UNEVEN SIDES this happens to me every time i get a cut with some layers, even after I explain to the stylist that I don't want it to happen....they cut more layers into one side than the other. Then when I make a sidepart, one side looks like it's one length and the other a multi layered shag.BAD CUT I just got a meg ryan type haircut, kind of a shag, the stylist cut a row of very very short layers on the one side, that stick up, and the other has long layers, and the unfortunate thing is I have a hard time changing my part to compensate. In fact this short row of layers don't even blend in well, and if I do get someone to blend them, won't that take away from the shag cut? I told her that the style said longer layers on top , but she insisted that they were short, so I trusted her. Any advice ?
Sounds as if you need to get your hair growing again and in the meantime ask around and find a competent stylist for the type of haircut you desire. Not everyone can cut hair every way we want it--some stylists are more proficient than others, particularly when it comes to layers. I've seen some "horror shows" lately and feel very sorry for the poor women who had to walk around with their hair looking like a bottle brush! When you find the right stylist for the cut you want, consult with him/her to be sure you have the RIGHT HAIR TYPE for the cut! Some stylists will cut your hair the way you demand to avoid an argument--leaving you ultimately dissatisfied. Keep an open mind, trust the stylist's opinion, and get a style you'll be proud of!Good luck to you!> UNEVEN SIDES this happens to me every time i get a cut> with some layers, even after I explain to the stylist> that I don't want it to happen....they cut more layers> into one side than the other.
