Recently I had my hair highlighted all over. It is now a blondish/ash brown. Though I love the look it is unfortunately smthing I am unable to keep up with. I would like to put an all over color of blonde or light brown on it but am unsure how to go about it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a little confused -- How do you have to "keep" up highlighting? Actually, dyeing your hair one color is much more work than highlighting because when it grows out, you will get a distinct line of demarcation. However, with highlights, you can put them in and when they grow out are relatively undetectable other than an overall "tint" of your original color.
