shades eq & grabbing

Someone please tell me what I am doing wrong!!!My colorist tones my very light blonde hair with Redken Shades EQ with 1/2 Irish Creme and 1/2 crystal clear. I can only leave it on for 5 -15 minutes, because the front & top of my hair always grab the "beige" color in streaks which leaves my hair looking as if it has a hint of marroon in it - yuk!!! I have a very fair complexion and am looking for a "creamy blonde"- what should we do?Do I need a protein filler? What is a good one and how do you use it? Someone help - we're desperate!!!
