QuoteReplyTopic: To Jade21: What do you think about the Rosemary & Sage Hair/Scalp Rinse? Posted: January 12 2000 at 6:43am
Hi Jade!I use the JAY shampoo together with Nature´s Gate Original Herbal Hair Conditioner and it works fantastic, but I want some extra shine and wonder if the Rosemary and Sage herbal rinse is something you can recommend? Thanks!
Hi Sandra :)Just wanted to tell you, I use the Jay shampoo on a regular basis and occasionally use the Rosemary & Sage Rinse. I really enjoy using this rinse and yes, it does leave the hair very shiny. The only thing is, the witch hazel contained it has the tendency to dry out the hair so I think it's best used on just the scalp area or prehaps the area above the ears. Hope that helps!!MariaRelated Link:Maria In Mass
Hi, Sandra!Glad you like the JAY shampoo. Me, too:)I used the Sage and Rosemary hair rinse quite a bit this summer and definitely limited the rinse to my scalp as suggested on the bottle. The witch hazel can be very drying to the length of your hair---spilled some:)there, but the rinse still gives quite a bit of shine to your hair even when confined to the scalp. Someone suggested to me something which they had done and I have not tried it. That is, to simply add a few drops of jojoba oil to the rinse for more moisture to counteract the witch hazel. I have not tried this yet.I am still waiting on the rinses from Wiseways Herbals which I think are better suited to me because I want to use on my entire head. They are apple cider vinegar-based and are also supposed to be ultra-conditioning. I'll post after I try them.If you want to add some shine to your hair and don't want to use the Sage and Rosemary, try using straight apple cider vinegar (2 tablespoons to a pint of distilled water)(I've been doing this) or using some beer or ale (dark).Hope something helped....Bye for now,JadeP.S.
