All you have to do to do cornrows is like a french braiding but instead of braiding you twist your hair HAVE FUN!!

The information about cornrowing being twisting was incorrect. Twisting is twisting, cornrows are braids done against the scalp. Cornrowing is like french-braiding, except the braids are usually done in an underhand rather than overhand motion (your hands do the work under the hair rather than over.) I recommend that you go to a black beauty salon and ask if they can do the cornrowing, you might be able to learn by watching. Most African American women who know how to cornrow learn from watching the older women in their families do it. Good Luck!
