Hi All!Does anyone have any information on a vitamin called Formula 50 by Marlyn? I wrote down some information off the net a while ago. It is supposed to be available at Walmart for $18.32 for 50 softgels. I went to our local Walmart and they didn't have anything like that. They looked in their computer to see if they could order it. There was a skin vitamin and there was a topical for hair by Marlyn. I remember reading that it was a substitute for the Formula 37 hair vitamins and it cost much less. Has anyone ever tried this stuff? I would like to compare the ingredients in both formulas. ThanksCarolyn B
Hi, Carolyn!Did you check the pharmacy? I remember someone here saying a while back that they obtained the Formula 50 by going through a WalMart pharmacy. The other place you might try is a Target pharmacy.Bye for now,JadeP.S. Those supplements ought to give you some bang for your buck because that is really expensive for 50 softgels. And HF37 is more expensive than that? The guy is making a fortune selling some easily obtained stuff:)
Hi Jade!I checked at the pharmacy. they had some Marlyn products they could order. Nothing was a softgel for hair. They had a topical for hair and an oral supplement for skin. Nothing with the number 50 or anything at the price I had written down. They do sound expensive but I thought the price for the Formula 37 was more. I can't tell you exactly how much. I know there are 2 supplements you take each day with the Formula 37. I would like to be able to purchase whatever I take either locally or in a city that I visit on a regular basis. I can get to a Target in a little over and hour. Does it have to be a Supertarget to have a pharmacy? There are no Supertargets less than 3 hours from where I live. I found an 800 number that I had written down and called it. I left my name and number and asked to have some information sent to me. I just want to compare before I order. I am taking 2 handfulls of individual vitamins each day. It is a pain and I think it would be more pleasant to have to swallow fewer capsules. I don't eat the best diet so I know I need supplements. I am trying to eat more healthy but that doesn't always work. Now that I have decided to grow my hair again I want it grow as fast as it can and be as healthy as I can make it.Carolyn B
I can't remember which website. I have tried searching but no results. I have gone to all the sites I can find but no references to the Formula 50. I may have seen it on a message board. I just can't remember exactly. Not real smart to not write it down huh? I will keep searching and see if I can turn up something. I had high hopes that you guys on here might know of it. I get so much of my hair information on this site. I will see if my call to the company yeilds any info but when you can only leave your name and number you don't know if you will get a response back. I guess it's the story of my life asking for the impossible.Carolyn B
Walmart ordered Formula 50 by Marlyn for me. I think I paid $6.50 for 50 capsules and $18.50 for 250 capsules. I would ask Walmart again if they can order this product. I have had good results. Hope this helps.
