Does anyone know how complicated it is to change colors from red to blond.I dyed my hair red about five years agoand have maintained it, but would like to go blonde now.will I have to go to a salon to get it stripped out or canI do it at home.thanks

I've been red for years now, as well -- and it's hard to go from red-red to blonde without professional help. I'd advise going to a salon.If you insist upon doing it yourself, you might try letting the color soften first (leaving it grow and fade out) and then dying it in stages back to your natural color -- but this method will take a number of months.lo
