Hi Karen,

I love Hairboutique.com and HairTalk. I have been to so many other hair boards where they have something like 30-40 topics and about 10 total posts LOL which is so ridiculous. What I like about here is that you have threads but you make sure they are active or you remove them.

With that grand intro, may I please ask if you might consider a board on fashion and shopping? I love love but I also love to shop for shoes, clothes, accessories and the like and go to another site to read about the latest in trends but would prefer to just come here.

I know it is a little removed from hard core hair but if you think you might consider it, I would definitely visit often.

did you mention shoes? oh i would be in trouble! LOL i LOVE shoes! i LOVE clothes too. if there was a board about those stuff i would really never leave the computer! i tease my husband that i have to share the closet with him i have no room. we have a walk in closet downstairs i took over and made selves for my shoes. i still don't have enough room! we have a balcony off our bedroom. i've suggest we close it off and make a big closet

Shopping is my passion, next to hair talk. :-) I think it would be awesome. I agree that we need a board about shoes and fashion and shopping. :-)

My fantastic niece Brigid who is a fashionista supremo is working at HairBoutique.com on her summer break from college. She has impeccable taste in clothes and shoes. I have been talking to her about moderating a fashion board for all of us. Just since she has been here (and because of her) I have been browsing the Net for Lucky Jeans and shoes, shoes, shoes. :-) So keep your fingers crossed and hopefully she will be up to the task. If not, we will still probably do a fashion board in our next expansion. :-)

Thank you all very much for your feedback. I have actually had some emails about other topics that folks think would be popular, so we will consider all suggestions.

I also love the idea of having a shopping/fashion board Karen. It seems like something that would naturally compliment a hair website.




It would be great if your niece decides to contribute in that way. I'm sure it would be a unique experience for her as well.
