My natural color is med. brown and now it's mostly light brown and dark blonde but it doesn't seem very flattering. The stylist used ash/cool (weaving) with some brighter blonde pieces. It's a pretty color/colors but gee, I don't know if it suits me. Is this a normal reaction? If I don't love it now, should I just go get lowlights? Or wait a week or two and see if I like it?

hi. you should wait a few days. your haircolor should blend in more after washing it.
if you really don't like it, you should talk to your stylist. toning it down might help. good luck.

Well since I've been 6 hair colors in a week (see the botched post below), I'd say if you can live with it, LEAVE IT. If this is your first time highlighting, I'll bet it looks streaky to you. It will blend eventually and the next time you highlight, it'll be even better.

I'm betting you look lovely and I'm jealous -- wish my blonde hair was back. Instead, I have to live with being the color of a root crop. Take your pick: red beet or carrot.
