Hmmm..."charm" and "Gord" used in the same sentence. In a complimentary way.
I should jot this date down.
You would think that he would be hanging around more since there seems to be a trend for women celebs to grow their hair lately. Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls" has grown out her bob. Alyssa Milano, Tammy Lynn Michaels (Mrs. Melissa Etheridge), and Natalie Raitano have grown out their pixies. Debra Messing, Hilary S****, and Katie Holmes have gone from long to longer.
Sure, there are a few exceptions that have gone the other way (Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, the Simpson sisters), but none of those have been really short. The longer hair that isn't extensions just seems to be more in evidence of late.
And, fortunately, it's not all center-parted and straight.

Shorthair, as I recall, you and Gord clashed regularly about long vs. short. Don't tell us you've gone soft.
How do you know he's not here with us under another name? Maybe he's really Shorthair and all of those feuds were fake. Maybe Gord was a pseudonym for Jerky Flea. (Note to Shorthair: pseudonym = fake name.) Heck, maybe I'm Gord.
All I know for sure is that long hair rocks.

I've noticed for the last couple of weeks that good ole Gordo ain't around anymore, and I'm not complaining. I say good riddance. The only reason I never potsed my 'Where is Gordo?' thread before is because I hated how this guy became the subject of so many threads. This is not what's this board is about. I know that last statement is ironic because I always hated him playing 'board police', which he did often. Anyways, he hardly ever contributed anything to the conversation. He liked long hair and hated short hair. His comments became cliche When he wasn't making these cliches comments he was being the darn 'board policeman.' I hope he's OK, but I'm glad he stopped his stupid posts.

Ahem. I ain't Gord. Note the muscular physique, strong jaw, and blue antennae in the picture. Does that look like a "Gord" to you?
And, for what it's worth, I picture Gord as a tall, skinny guy with wild hair who wears retro shirts and falls down a lot.

No I'm (Oh sorry not this isn't the Spartacus board).
I just hope he's ok also. And no I'm not really him.

Gord was a good writer. While I didnot talk to him personally- I loved to read the debates between long hair and short! He did like long hair on a female! (Edited because I felt like it! :-)
There is more to life than hair...Come on---Go get a life!!!!!!!

I always pictured him being more like Renfield, really. . . except maybe with a Norman Bates "mother" fixation. . . *shrugs* But it's not like there's a dearth of rabid LHFs to argue with in his absence, so it's no big deal if he's here or not. I might've liked to have given him a survey or something to try to figure out why he was the way he was, though. . .
Its called a joke....... see anyone that's been around long enough to have read some of the clashes between Gord and myself would realize it's absurd, even absurdly funny for me to say I'm Gord after someone said Gord was really someone else... get it? In the words of the late great Jonny Carson, if you have to explain it, it's best to just forget it.

Don't you remember the vice presidential debates in 1988 when Lloyd Bentsen said to Dan Quayle, ""Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy." I knew Jack Kennedy and you're no Jack Kennedy." That's where I was going with it. To quote Gord, "Please calm yourself."
