My stylist did my hair in a demi-French twist and curled the ends. I liked the way it looked except that my hair looked like it hadn`t been washed in a week.

My hair is a bit below my shoulders. It`s pretty thick and "rebellious." Is there any way to get it to keep its curl and look healthy and shiny without spraying it to death?
