Everytime you see someone with dreads, their hair just gets so long, why?
If I get my dread do you think it could grow longer?

If you want to loc your hair you better make sure this is what you really want to do. because there is no going back unless you pick the scissors

when your hair is loc`d it grows faster because there is no manipulation. no combing to break the hairs. basically locs are nothing more than the dead hair that you would find in your combs or brush. with frequent washes and moisture yes your hair will grow faster with locs

I have been loc`d for some years now and i have decided to cut them.

thing i heard was if you just keep them in too long,
THEN THEY WILL FALL OUT!

No, once you lock them up there is no going back... no way to take them out, just have to cut it.
