has anyone else had this experience? I had the Chi tr done a couple of months ago, and while I haven't had the damage that some have had (a handful of short hairs in the front), my hair is still pretty wavy in the back and on the sides a bit. I also had my hair highlighted a couple of weeks ago which my stylist said was perfectly safe. My stylist (who charged $500!) has offered to redo the back and sides, but I am leary after all the horror stories I have read. She said she checked with the Chi "people" and they said there isn't a problem with redoing areas that didn't "take". Everything I have read lately about TR says you should deep condition your hair 1-2 times a week and avoid heat like hair dryers. My stylist NEVER mentioned either of these things. She only told me to us the Chi care products for at least 2 weeks (I used them for 4 weeks) and then I could use anything I wanted as long as it was salon quality. She recommended a smoothing shampoo and conditioner. My hair seems pretty healthy to me and it looks good (I have gotten many compliments), but I paid for straight hair and even when I blow dry it with a brush it is still wavy and ripply in places.
Another thing. She never asked my about past experiences with perms but I have read that TR is like the reverse of a perm and perms have NEVER taken on my hair.
Has anyone had TR and had it not take completely? If so, what did you do?
Thanks for any help! :)

Almost forgot, the stylist also said that the Chi people said I should start using the Keratin Mist and Silk products again (these are the after shampoo care products) between now and when she re-does my hair in January. I hate these products they make my hair greasy too fast.
I started using them again in case I let her redo my hair. Apparently she has done TR on many people as well as the touch ups without any bad results (according to her), but I don't know if I want to risk it.
Any stylist out there have any input as to why my hair didn't all come out straight? Are there different strengths of Chi formulas? And had she used something stronger and gotten my hair really straight would I have all the damage and breakage others have had?
I had CHI level 1 done a month ago and it did not take. I went and did deep conditioning treatments and protein treatments and just had it redone with Level 2 on Monday. So far its okay, I have a few bent hairs at the base but so far things seem ok otherwise, I am just hoping the hair stays in-but its pretty straight so I am thrilled with that! When I did level 1 it felt fine but was still really curly. I do not color my hair though and it was pretty virgin for the past two years because I got pregnant and did not do anything to it while I was and nursing. I would recommend the treatments and stuff before you go back just to be safe!
