hey! okay right now my hair is dark brown and i really want to lighten it up, i dont want to go blonde, i just want to be back to a light/medium brown! I really do not want to go back to the salon and want to use a dye or something i can just buy at the store, but i keep hearing all these stories that your hair could turn a completley different color while doing this.. so im wondering if its true and also..what i should use to get to a lighter brown! thanks

You could try a highlift brown, that'll probably get you to a light brown in one step.
