After I finish showering and drying my hair, it gets all poofy and ugly, how do I get my hair to have a layed, straight look?

use ceramic hair straighterners..the flat iron ones..

they really make such a difference, although its not something you'd tell your mates in the pub

my hair is HORRID when it comes to that...trust me, invest in a Chi iron and you wont be sorry. It's the only way to go and your hair will be gorgeous. No one can tell my hair is naturally curly, wavy, and crimped!

Don't buy a chi iron!! Because I don't like the name.

Ok, go to folica.com and buy the Solia Flat Iron, if you don't like it return it and try Sedu. Too bad they increased the Sedu by $10. If you don't like any of these two, try True Ceramic Pro available at www.trueceramicpro.com. If you don't like that one either, than go for that stupid chi iron.

Sea4,

Have you tried washing your hair in the evening/lateafternoon? That way you can wake up the next day with "second day hair". The poof would only last through the evening and night.
