Whats the deal, y'all...

wuttup yall...im new here...im interested in gettin waves, cuz i had my hair grown out, and im cuttin it this saturday, and my black homeboys tol me i should try gettin some waves (im a hispanic with curly/wavy hair dependin on length, my mom has straight hair and my dad has nappy hair), and im like thats a good idea...execpt i dont really know where to start...i just got a couple of questions...

1)how low do i cut my hair?

2)what products do i use? (my homeboys use murrays but they told me use 360 cuz my hair is soft and it aint nappy)

3)what steps should i take?

4)how long does it take to see results?

although these questions are commonly answered, im guessing most of these boys on here is black, so me being hispanic, i might have to take a different approach...holla...

U need to be dedicated and never give up although it may seems like ur getting nowhere. ( i always wanted to tell some1 that...lol)

CHECK OUT THE THREADS YOU CAN FIND ALOT THAT WAY MAYNE, I STARTED LIKE 2 MONTHS AGO AND I LEARNED ALOT FROM THESE GUYS IN HERE THIS FORUM IS A GOOD PLACE TO BEGIN YOU ARE HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. YOU A NEWBIE HOLLA AT TWISTA HE GOOD PPLS AND CAN GIVE YOU SOME WAVE KNOWLEDGE.

Night and/or Morning
1. While bathing shampoo hair. brush shampoo out.
2. After bathing, while wet, apply pink lotion/moisterizer.
3. Brush 50x on each side. (this saves time rather that just obnoxiously brushing for an hour)
4.Apply promade. Tip of finger for each side. Brush 50x each side. (Dont for get to heat promade.)
5.Hot towel wipe.
6. Brush each side 50x.
7. If night, then wear wave cap under durag. if moring then just durag. Unless ur gonna stay home all day.

thanks for the replies...yo i see a lot of yall dont cut agaisnt the grain...since its gonna be my first cut before i get waves, does it matter if its against the grain or not?
