Ok, guys, I've come across my first bad batch of hair from Extensions Plus, and I'm upset about it.

On one of my longtime clients, I installed EP's 'Softwear' brand hair (their Indian hair) 20" long 14/24 mix.  Just a few days later she called up crying because there are big tightly formed matt balls all over her head.  This girl has been wearing extensions for 2 years without a problem, so she didn't cause this to happen.

This hair is supposed to be cuticle direction hair, but it sounds like this batch is not, there's no other reason why it would be matting up like that.

I'm going in to MB office to pick up another order on Monday, and I'll tell him about this.  I am hoping he will replace the hair for the client, as she paid $450.  We'll see what he says.  If he doesn't, and I'll be very pissed if he doesn't, than I told the girl I would provide her with new hair, which will come out of my pocket, and financially hurt me because I'm not rich!

Oh,  synth hair is looking better and better all the time....

That sucks. I know Extensions Plus just launched that website, and they've been getting a lot of good reviews online lately (and, one assumes, increased demand for their hair), and I wonder if the quality goes downhill once that happens--like the company feels they can provide lesser-quality hair for the standard price. I mean, if a company's hair is being touted as "the best" or "one of the best," maybe they're thinking, "Why am I providing better quality at a lower price than other companies?" Meanwhile, I'm sure the industry-wide price hikes and falling U.S. dollar don't help.

:)

I am so afraid to order hair with te cuticle because of that problem. When I went through euro locks ther hair was all that way. they would bunch up while just sitting there. I didnt have one good bag which is why I stoped using them!!My clients didn't have time to break due to the locks it was the mating that got them
