QuoteReplyTopic: Hair is frizzy and texture not fine Posted: March 27 2005 at 8:34pm
hey, I have blonde hair, about an inch below my ears. I tried shampoos and conditioners for frizzy hair and to get hair smooth, yet they don't work. I want my hair silky and fine. I hate my hair. And theres also strands of hair that dont match the other hair follicles. Any suggestions on all of this? thnx.

It sounds like you're trying to use shampoo and conditioner to change your hair from coarse and wiry to silky and fine. Don't bother. The only thing these products can do is help keep down frizzies a bit. The real problem is that you hate your hair type. This is something you need to come to grips with. Look for styles your hair can do, don't fight it.

In what way don't they match the other follicles?

yes its true you can really change your hair texture EXCEPT by chemical or mechanical means. you can try to have intense moisture treatment at salon, or even have it rebonded. or you can get an anti frizz serum or lotion work it into hair and blow dry it. Its hard work to change your hair texture not to mention the cost.
