Okay people I tried this posting in the new products forum but no one even looked at the posting --
My hair is medium/light brown, layered in the back and sides between shoulder blades with bangs in the front. I plan on growing it out to at least the middle of my back. My hair length will depend mostly on the "requirements" or job environment where I work. I work in human services in a residential setting. Right now my company has other men with long hair, just not as long as mine and some of the other managers dye their hair -- I know that it is illegal to discriminate against race, sex, religious beliefs, etc...but I would not want to miss out on a great job opportunity because my hair didn`t fit thr company style. I even mention my willingness to cut my locks on the interview
Anyhow, I am wondering if there are any products/treatments out there which would gradually lighten my hair without damaging? I am not talking BLOND just a lighter shade of brown. Would using lemon juice or hydrogen peroxide before shampooing do the trick? Should I Leave it in overrnight ?
I guess you all can just call me niave...

I`ve seen some Mousse by Salon Selectives I think it was that is supposed to gradually lighten hair. There are three different kinds for different hair colors. I haven`t tried it though.
