In 1995, I saw a TV advert for an interesting hair gadget. It's a strip of Spandex or Lycra or some similar material with a slit or hole in the middle. Through this, you put your hair and then can do things like wrap it into a bun or make other styles, basically by twisting the ends of the cloth so the hair rolls around it, then shaping the roll of hair as desired. A woman with very long, very blonde hair demonstrated the technique.
What is this device called? Is there an Internet site about it?
Maybe you mean the Hairdini, or the Hairigami. They don't sound
exactly like what you described, but the closest thing I can think
of. Do a search on google for Hairigami and you can see the
styles on the first link that comes up.
I bought one, but it´s impossible to use with long hair. I mean, really long hair. I think it mainly for those who don´t have enough to make a real bun. Clever, really.
The more you complain, the longer God lets you live.
