Ok......I've just recently washed my hair tonight following my normal routine >> pre-poo, wash and conditioner. I am about 4 1/2-5 wks post relaxer and have a lot of new growth. I normally do roller sets after washing, but wanted to do a straight style for the weekend so I blow-dried and flat ironed (bad I know ) Anyway, I'm trying out a new oil (Lustrasilk Hot Coconut Herba Oil) and think I may have used tooooo much. My hair feels and looks extra oily, but still has body and bounce . I hate the look of oily hair and want to get some of the oils/shine out! Does anyone know how to strip/remove some of the oils without having to re-wash the hair??????

Ok, here's what I ended up having to do with my little hair dilemma!! I had to do a roller-set after all. I went back and applied a little Smooth 'n Shine Polishing Mousse to my hair ( which seemed to help "neutralize" some of the oils)and did my roller wrap on large rollers as usual. This morning I removed rollers, wrapped hair loosely for a short time before combing out and .. Viola! My hair turned out gorgeous--silkier and bouncier than before! I think the "over-oiling" may have actually contributed a little. By the way the oil I mentioned previously smells yummy and contains all herbal ingredients -- coconut oil, wheat germ, sweet almond, safflower, castor, sesame, henna/walnut/sage extracts, etc.... Anyway, the overuse wasn't a total disaster....
