Was wondering if anyone had a pic of these colors in PH? Color ring, loose, or on their head, lol.

Sure, Shadow...here goes. Take this with a grain of salt because the colors may look very different because of the flash and your monitor.

Anyway, the Fichte is a gorgeous coppery color, while the Honig and Gold are quite similar gold hues. I think the latter two are actually a bit more similar than they look in these pics, but let's just say the Honig is more of an intense gold, while the Gold is a bit paler with an almost-pinkish undertone. Here are the two side by side.

Good luck! :)

Oh wow, that fichte is really dark! These are three of the four colors I've ordered, along with champagne. I guess maybe I coiuld use the Fichte as an undercolor....and then some blends mixed in.

Yes, I ordered without a color ring.....I'm one of those adventurous types, ha.

Hey shadow

The Fichte is beautiful! I'm definately ordering that! The Honig and Gold are very bright! I'm not sure the "look" you have in mind...Those three are a very "sunny" mix!

I cheked the PH site...although everyones browsers are different...the Blonde,Vanille,or even Weizen, seem to match the pics you ordered from on PH site. And I checked em against the Fichte...the all blend! Again...not knowing your ultimate masterpiece in mind...just thought I'd try to help by comparing my ring against the site.

I hope I'm following you...I'm a real sharp one, ha! You are saying the blonde, vanille, and weizen match the fichte on your ring, or on the site? Or, do they go with the gold? I'm confused! lol.

I also have caramel blonde. I just want to eventually do some fun open ended braids. I just reinstalled my double ended dreads ( I couldn't stand being "naked" any longer!) so I have time to order what I need and play :)

Nice hair shadow.  i don't have enough nerve to wear dreads.  But, then again I barely get away with the hair I have at work so it's probably for the best.

So you're ging to make dreads of these colors?  Or try for loose? or...?

I was hoping to braid for a maybe four inches then tie with a small band.

I practiced pinchbraiding on myself and promptly gave up! DIY can be so limiting for me, rrrr.

Your dreads are gorgeous, Shadow--so fluffy and full, and I just love the colors!

I don't think Gina was saying that the Fitche matched the Vanille, Blonde, or Weizen; I think she was saying she liked the combo (but correct me if I'm wrong, G). The fitch is a coppery red, while the others are obviously blondes.

Here are some of those other colors. Again, the lighting in my apartment sucks and everybody's monitor will show these differently (obviously, there's a lot of flash happening here), but this'll give you a better idea of how the blonde and light brown colors look right next to each other. :)

Yeah, that'll work fine. You could even get away braiding it only two inches or so. The rubberband shows more than thread would, but if you're letting the braids show anyway it won't matter.

Shadow

Sorry! I reread that...It was abit confusing! I ment to say...Honig and Gold show up on PH site looking more "natural"...That's why I compared and suggested the others. The Vanile,Blonde, etc. swatches  compare to how PH displays the golds you ordered on her site. It's a more"natural" look. If you alredy have caramel...I think the ones you ordered will be perfect! Very vibrant...especially in open braids!

Did I make more since that time?

UPDATE:

I rcvd my hair today and was pretty shocked out just how sunny these colors were. I mean, I like eclectic hair, but the gold and honig blonde are so ....doll like.

So, I put in another order for a COLOR RING and ordered some browns while I was at it. I have a head o' dreads right now so no big deal, just now know that the color ring is crucial for any future orders

So much for being adventurous! On the bright side (pun intended) I love the ficht, champagne, and the caramel.
